Daily Devotional Rosary October 25, 2026:The Glorious Mysteries- THE HEAVINESS HAS LIFTED.
Good morning. God morning to you.
You’ve been crying out to Him from the depths of your soul. And sometimes it feels like you don’t hear anything back.
But you are here.
You want to pray.
Even if you don’t enjoy it yet, even if you don’t know what to say, something in you knows to keep coming back.
That’s grace.
Before Mass, and again before my Rosary, I read Psalm 130:
“Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice.”
And as I prayed, I cried. Not tears of sadness for myself. My heart was with the souls I was praying for. Those who have died. Those who are grieving. Those who are hungry for the closeness of God.
Our prayer can make room for them, too.
Whatever is weighing on you this morning, bring it here. You don’t have to untangle every thought before you begin. You can return to the words:
Our Father, who art in Heaven.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Keep coming back.
And as we enter these Glorious Mysteries, don’t rush past the mystery because the words are familiar.
He rose from the dead.
He ascended into Heaven.
The Holy Spirit came.
Sit with that.
If you find yourself saying, “I want to believe, but I don’t understand,” ask Him:
Jesus, show me. Help me to believe.
Let us pray.
The Glorious Mysteries
How to Pray With Us
For each of the five Glorious Mysteries, pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be and one Fatima Prayer. The words are written out under the First Mystery. Use those same prayers for the remaining four decades.
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Bring your intentions. Bring the people you love. Remember those who have died, and those who have no one to pray for them.
The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection of Jesus
On the third day, He rose again from the dead.
Have you ever stopped and really sat with that? Let yourself pause here today.
If it feels too great to understand, pray:
Jesus, help me to believe. Reveal this mystery to my heart.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary – Pray 10 Times
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.
The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension of Jesus
He appeared to His disciples. He taught them. He ate with them. And He ascended into Heaven.
Do you believe that?
Bring even your uncertainty into the prayer.
Jesus, help me to see. Help me to trust You.
Stay open. Stay listening as you pray.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be and one Fatima Prayer.
The Third Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life.
When you are so choked up that you cannot find the words, you can ask for His help. You do not have to carry the whole prayer by yourself.
Holy Spirit, teach me to pray. Help me to listen.
Make room for the quiet after those words, too.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be and one Fatima Prayer.
The Fourth Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary
Mary is assumed, body and soul, into Heaven.
Turn toward the Mother of God with the intentions you have been carrying. Ask for her intercession for your family, for the suffering and for the faithful departed.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be and one Fatima Prayer.
The Fifth Glorious Mystery: The Coronation of Mary
The crowning of Mother Mary.
As we contemplate her coronation as Queen of Heaven and earth, let us give God the places in our lives where fear has been making the decisions.
Let Love lead there.
Let this prayer reach beyond our own needs.
Mother Mary, pray for us, and for all those we bring before your Son.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be and one Fatima Prayer.
Salve Regina (Hail, Holy Queen) in Latin
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae,
vita, dulcedo et spes nostra, salve.
Ad te clamamus, exsules filii Hevae.
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
in hac lacrimarum valle.
Eia ergo, advocata nostra,
illos tuos misericordes oculos
ad nos converte.
Et Iesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui,
nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.
O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Closing
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
God is with you. God is for you.
You ask why you are here. Let that become a prayer, too:
Father, show me how to serve. Show me whom to remember. Show me how to love.
You are a temple for Him.
Your hands can help. Your words can comfort. Your prayers can make room for someone you may never meet.
You are a house of prayer.
Pray for them. Pray for all of us.
I love you. And we’ll chat soon.
