3 Signs You Passed Something Big – and Your New Season Has Begun
“The man who is mighty in prayer may be a shield around his country.” Charles Spurgeon

Your mind won’t let you believe it- that the worst is over… that the best is rising. That you actually made it through to the other side with stronger faith and deeper roots, and a story that the world will hear. Your spirit knows. God knows. And that’s why you must stay in constant contact with Him, in Spirit and in Truth. Pray in the Spirit. Even while you’re reading this.
Begin swaying, begin smiling, begin feeling that river of Joy running through you, flowing from your belly, bubbling over into tongues that confuse the enemy and confound your mind, but directly ask the Lord for what is needed… they praise the Lord for He’s given. You are moving in a new way this season. Less effort. Less stress. More fruit. No steps. Just this, right, one. HIM. He’s your next and only step. Turn to Him. Again.
Here are three signs your new season has already begun, whether you realize it or not.
1. You Kept Going on a Day When the Old You Would’ve Quit
This is one of the loudest indicators of spiritual promotion.
You were tired.
You were hurting.
You were overwhelmed.
You didn’t feel spiritual.
You didn’t follow the routine.
You didn’t have the “push” you used to rely on.
But you stayed with God anyway.
You didn’t walk away.
You didn’t spiral.
You didn’t go numb.
You didn’t choose escape.
You stayed in Him! Even silently, even weakly, even slumped over and half-present. Maybe you even crashed out, lol, but you came back, you snapped out of it faster than you would’ve a year ago.
And heaven saw it.
Passing a test rarely looks like fireworks. It usually looks like still choosing Him when everything in you wants comfort, distraction, or collapse.
You didn’t quit.
That was the test.
And you passed it.
Scripture: Galatians 6:9, James 1:12
2. Your Weakness Pushed You Into a New Depth of Surrender
You got up anyway.
You ate healthy anyway.
You prayed anyway.
You listened anyway.
You moved your body anyway.
You showed up anyway.
On a day when you had every reason to stay in bed, every reason to cancel, every reason to collapse, every reason to hide under the covers… you still chose God.
Heaven counts days like these as victory.
Scripture: Romans 8:26, 2 Corinthians 12:9
3. You Feel a Quiet, Unexplainable Peace- Even If Nothing Changed Yet
Here is the biggest sign of all:
Not excitement. Not fireworks. Not adrenaline. No worldly signs, actually.
PEACE.
A soft, almost unnoticed peace.
A gentle settling in your spirit.
A sense that you don’t need to push anything.
A relief you didn’t earn. THIS IS THE ATMOSPHERE… THE FEELING STATE OF THE NEW SEASON.
PEACE. QUIET JOY. GRATITUDE FOR NO REASON BUT HIM.
When the test ends, God doesn’t send a trumpet, He sends a stillness.
A quiet knowing.
A warmth in the center of your chest.
A sense that you are held and safe and carried.
Even if your body is tired.
Even if your day is still full.
Even if the circumstances aren’t visibly different yet.
Your spirit knows before your mind catches up.
Your spirit crosses the finish line before your emotions feel the victory.
HIS PEACE is your confirmation: Heaven shifted something in your favor. Your new season is here.
Scripture: Isaiah 43:19, Psalm 46:10
Reflection Practice: “Show Me What I Passed Through”
Sit quietly for a moment.
Put a hand on your heart.
Whisper:
“Holy Spirit, show me what I passed.”
Pay attention to the first thing that rises:
A memory…
A fear…
A trigger…
A pattern…
A moment you handled differently…
A reaction you didn’t have…
A weight that feels lighter today…
That’s the breakthrough.
That’s the evidence.
That’s the promotion.
Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You for carrying me through the moments I didn’t recognize as holy.
Thank You for strengthening me in silence.
Thank You for counting the tears, the fatigue, the effort, the prayers, the steps, and the days I felt weak.
Thank You for shifting my season even when I didn’t know how to ask.
Lead me into this new beginning with confidence, with peace, and with a heart fully awake to You.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name, and by His Precious Blood, Amen.
